Welcome - to the Members area of BCN  
   
BCN is a member organization at present supported by a Founder President, 16 patrons, 115 life members and several ordinary members. The major strength of the organization is the varied membership, which includes students, teachers, professionals, bird enthusiasts, conservationists and the general public.

Membership Benefits
  • Free subscription of quarterly newsletters Danphe and Munal.
  • Get help and advice in bird research work
  • Be involves in BCN’s conservation campaigns.

Membership Fee

Website Members: Free (for discussion forum participation only)
General Member: NRs 200.00 for Nepali/US$ 10.00 for foreigners and residents out side Nepal (Renewable every year)
Life Member: NRS 5,000.00 for Nepali/US$ 100.00 for residents outside Nepal
Patron: Nrs 10,000.00 for Nepali/US$ 200.00 for residents outside Nepal
Corporate Member: NRs 50,000.00 per year
 

 

 
You can also support our activities by
  • Fund a specific education or research project
  • Sponsor a study of globally threatened species (you can choose a species)
  • Donate field equipment, office supplies or books
  • Get involved in a management or research programme
  • Provide editorial help on Danphe, Munal and Ibisbill
  • Give slide presentation about birds and its habitats
  • Organise workshops or lead field trips
  • Help to promote BCN locally and internationally
