INTEGRATING LIVELIHOODS AND CONSERVATION: PEOPLE PARTNER WITH NATURE FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING (2018-2021)
'Integrating Livelihood and Conservation: People Partner with Nature for Sustainability' is an extension of 3 years pilot programme that was implemented in Resunga Forest IBA from 2015-2017. In the second phase, this programme is being implemented in Resunga and Madane Forest area of Gulmi. They both are the protected forests area. Resunga Forest is an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area (IBA) where as Madane Forest area has been kept under potential IBA. With the financial support from DANIDA/ CISU, Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN), Nature Kenya, and Nature Uganda, in partnership with Dansk Ornitologisk Forening (DOF) are implementing a 4 years programme in three respective sites of each country.

MAINSTREAMING BIODIVERSITY AND ECOSYSTEM SERVICES INTO COMMUNITY FORESTRY IN NEPAL
Funded by the UK’s Darwin Initiative, BirdLife International and Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN, BirdLife in Nepal) is implementing a three year project ( April 2015- March 2018) to ensure community forests in Nepal are managed sustainably. At the national level BCN will work with, the Department of Forests and Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN) to tackle a number of problems currently faced by the unsustainable management of Nepal’s community forests.

SUPPORT TO RURAL LIVELIHOODS AND CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION IN THE HIMALAYAS PROJECT
ICIMOD funded project “Support to Rural Livelihoods and Climate Change Adaptation in the Himalayas Project” is being currently implemented by Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) at Rauta Village Development Committee (VDC), Udayapur District of eastern Nepal. Nawaprabhat Nepal (NP Nepal) is associated as local partner for this project.
